PORTO
2019, 2024
Leather goods company Porto takes its name from the Latin form, Porto/Portare, meaning “I carry,” which is related to the Greek word Peiro, “I traverse”, and upon this premise Porto is devoted to the art and ease of a life in motion. The brand identity centers around a statuesque serif wordmark that retains structure when embossed into soft Italian leathers. Functional and elegant typographic notes enhance the brand aesthetic. A calming reductive palette further espouses the brand’s attitude of quiet gracefulness and understated luxury.
